Matcha, powdered green tea, is full of antioxidants, high in protein, fibre and carbohydrate and is low in sugar, salt and fat.
It has a rather bitter taste on it's own but in our bread mix it is deliciously combined with coconut flour and coconut nectar, beautifully balancing the flavours to produce a mildly sweet bread with a slightly peppery after taste and it is a vibrant green colour!
Matcha is studied for its potential to reduce mental and physical stress and to improve mood and cognitive performance in synergy with caffeine.
One loaf will yield approximately 14 slices and delivers approximately 0.71g of Matcha per portion.

You have cleverly created a comprehensive product with simple, easy to follow steps to ensure that a home baker with little or no experience can produce a handsome 'artisan' style loaf with a great crust. The well formed, moist, even crumb has a delicate natural sweetness and gentle matcha colour.
